Tough, durable and washable
TexNov MET-30 s a high solids, water-based acrylic designed to give optimum curing and protection to green concrete of all types. When applied to new, green concrete, it gives an efficient moisture barrier even at high coverage rates that promotes proper concrete hydration. TexNov allows concrete to develop its utmost potential in terms of strength gain, durability, water tightness, and wear resistance. Because TexNov is VOC compliant, it is safe to use and invites more effective workmanship.

Estimating/Coverage:
Coverage rates will depend on the surface. texture of the concrete as well as concrete porosity. Approximate rates are:

Two coats may be applied where extra protection is desired. Heavy build-ups should be avoided.
Ambient Conditions:
Concrete and air temperatures must be 40°F: (4°C) or higher. High relative humidity or enclosed areas without air movement may extend drying times.
Applying sealant:
Water-based sealants:
This finish is semi-gloss and slightly glazed. We recommend applying two coats for maximum maintenance and cleaning ease.
Application method:
- This sealant is applied with a roller or paintbrush (throw away after application).
- Do not apply at temperatures above 28oC or in the sun.
- Do not apply on a damp or extremely hot surface.
- Sealant can be applied to Texnov compound one day after its application.
- Avoid creating puddles, since they could cause white stains to appear.

Maintenance:
TexNov will wear off over time under traffic. Periodic reapplications are recommended.
Warning:
This product is intended for industrial use only. Although this is a water¬based product it is possible for combustible vapors to gather at the top of containers. Do not store near heat or open flames. Avoid breathing vapors and use caution to prevent contact with skin or eyes.
The sealant might whiten slightly if weather is humid or if it rains shortly after application. If this occurs, please note that sealant will become clear again once dry.
